They met during the filming of The Experts. John and Kelly have been married twice. Their first marriage, performed by a Scientologist minister, was declared illegal. This made the couple have to followup with another ceremony that took place on September 12, 1992.
John and Kelly have a son, Jett Travolta (1992), and a daughter, Ella Blue Travolta (2000) together. Both of the couple are members of the Church of Scientology.
On January 2, 2009, the couple's only son Jett Travolta passed away due a seizure that occured while the family was vacationing in the Bahamas. "Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered," John and Kelly Travolta stated in a statement.

I hoe you read this, I can only iimage what you.re hearts are goong through right , my heart and prayers are truly with you both in this sad,sad, time. I lost my sister on her birthday in Dec. 2004, it. was my mothers 1st. lost of 1 of 4 children, she has never been the same since.
