Straight from the beginning of the show in 2001, Carla had Turk's attention. They first hooked up in the episode titled "My Two Dads", which is the fifth episode of the American sitcom Scrubs. It originally aired as Episode 5 of Season 1 on October 23, 2001. Throughout the life of the show, which is still in production, the couple has for the most part remained together, and is now married with child.
The relationship was first estranged in the gap between season one and season two when Carla learned that Dr. Perry Cox had feelings for her, and that Turk knew this all along.
Season three was spent planning the couples wedding, which did occur as the season finale.
In season five, the couple spent alot of time trying to conceive a child, and finally made it happen in the sixteenth episode titled "My Bright Idea". In episode two of the sixth season, the baby, Isabella Turk is born.
