 The movie that caused a huge stir in the world of Celebrity Couples has been released onto DVD as of Tuesday, November 29.  The best price we have found in looking around the net is Amazon, who is selling it at $15.98. Come watch the ultimate battle of the sexes.

Most people are probably aware that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie "theoretically" hooked up while the filming of this movie took place.  The staff here at Celebrity Couples Online all saw this one in the theaters.  It is certainly worth the purchase, or at least a rental.

CNN is reporting that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have called the marriage off after 3 years.

The couple made the announcement last night.

"After three years of marriage, and careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways.  This is the mutual decision of two people with an enormous amount of respect and admiration for each other," they said in a joint statement released by their publicists.

R.I.P. to the Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey page, we will be removing it shortly.

Tom Cruise’s latest movie, War of the Worlds, was released today and is already the number one seller across many movie outlets.  The best price we could find at Celebrity Couples was at Amazon for $15.98.  This was one of the main points of controversy over Katie and Tom’s hook up, as a lot of people felt it was a publicity stunt for this and Batman Returns.  Get your copy of this new sci-fi classic now.

People Magazine has named Matthew McConaughey the sexiest man alive this year.  Matthew is best known for his roles in "A Time To Kill", "Sahara", "How to lose a Guy in 10 Days", and many other films.  During the press coverage that this story has been getting, we keep seeing reputable news sources stating that Penelope Cruz is indeed dating Matthew.  Prior to this, we thought it was too speculative to devote a couples page to them.  Well, no longer...  behold the Matthew McConaughey and Penélope Cruz page at Celebrity Couples Online.  We will try to get all the sub-pages up shortly.

The first poll on Celebrity Couples Online has concluded with 56% of our voters believing that Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn are certainly going steady.

Straight from our message boards, there is gossip on the Internet that Nicole Kidman and country musician Keith Urban might be engaged.  In response to this news, we have made the second poll with this in mind.  The question... should we add a page for this couple or is it still too early?  Come on over and vote!

In an interesting move, GQ Magazine has named Jennifer Aniston it's Woman of the Year.  GQ is a mens magazine that typically dishes out a Man of the Year award about this time.  Now, GQ will certainly not offend its male user base, as Jennifer is posing half nude on the cover.

Aniston was chosen for her "poise, grace and humor" during the scandal involving another celebrity couple, ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

According to Zap2it.com, the magazine named two other Men of the Year -- Aniston's co-star in "The Break Up," Vince Vaughn, and rapper/actor 50 Cent.  It's interesting to see both Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn on the same list.

The issue of GQ is set to hit the streets on November 22.

On the home page here at Celebrity Couples Online, you may have noticed a “Buzz Leaders” section on the right side.  This listing shows you the Actors and Actresses that are currently getting the most “Buzz” online. Yahoo! compiles this list on a daily basis, using data from its search engine.  For instance, at the time of this article, Jennifer Aniston is number two on the buzz index.  This means that people are looking for information about her more than any other actor or actress.  Only Lindsay Lohan was above her at the time.

So why is this interesting?  It tells you a few things.  First off, if Ms. Aniston is number 2 for the day, then we know there must be a lot of hype out on the net that is causing people to search for her.  This is most likely based on the publicity of her current movie, Derailed, and her two upcoming flicks.
