Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are now officially husband and wife according to the associated press. The couple had been engaged since June of 2005. However, I state "officially" very loosely, as the mairrage was a Scientology ceremony in Italy, and Italy doesn't recognize them as legal mairrages. Apparently, they will have to file for a civil union request to make it final.
Guests at the wedding included Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Lopez, David Bekham, Jim Carrey, Richard Gere, and more. Baby Suri was also part of the mix.
