A new TomKat came into the world today as Katie Holmes gave birth to her first child with actor Tom Cruise today.  According to the Associated Press, the baby, named Suri (Hebrew for "Princess", and Persian for "Red Rose"), weighed 7 pounds-7 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Cruise has an adopted son and an adopted daughter from his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

Tom Cruise has told a German tabloid that he plans to marry Katie Holmes this summer.  The event will take place following the birth of their child, and after the release of Mission Impossible 3 according to the superstar actor.

Tomkat, as the couple is affectionately known, has seen plenty of rumors over the last few months both in favor and against the possibility of marriage.  Many have speculated that the couple was through after a tiff occurred between Cruise and Katie Holmes father during a visit to her hometown.

On a side note, be sure to pick up a copy of the Oscar nominated movie Brokeback Mountain, which is released tonight at midnight.  The movie stars celebrity couple member Heath Ledger.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes made a guest appearance yesterday at the Yahoo! Search Engine headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.  That is an interesting fringe benefit.  There are a whole slew of images available here.

The web is so abuzz about Demi Moore possibly being pregnant with Ashton Kutcher’s child, her fourth, that Demi has shot into the top 2 Actors and Actresses being looked for on the internet.

Those three names have been regulars on the Yahoo! Buzz Index for over a year now.  To be honest, all three are still are on the list.  Yahoo, one of the leading internet search engines, created the Buzz index as a way to share what the most looked up categories are for people using them over a short timeframe.

Today we see that two new entries have made their way towards the top.  Reese Witherspoon is currently the queen of the Internet in terms of Actors and Actresses, most likely due to her winning the Best Leading Actress Oscar this year for her work as June Carter in Walk the Line.

Hayden Christensen’s ex-girlfriend, Lola Skya, has blasted Sienna Miller for stealing her man.  She is insisting that Jude Law's ex-fiancé is "messed up."  This comes as photographs of Hayden and Miller are lighting up the gossip television shows.  Tonight, new E! News host Ryan Seacrest introduced the photos showing the couple making out rather feverishly in the front seat of his car in Toronto.

According to one Gossip magazine website, Sienna's close friends claim the "thing" is a compulsive sex habit the pair will find hard to kick.  It appears Lola, who had been dating Hayden for quite some time, is going to be out of luck.

Hayden shot to fame as the star of the last two installments of Star Wars, where he played Anakin Skywalker.  Sienna and Hayden met while on the set of the upcoming movie “Factory Girl”.

We like Matthew McConaughey here at Celebrity Couples Online.  He isn't afraid to talk about his life when he sits down on the talk show circuit, and is just one cool cat in front of the camera.  

On the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this evening, he officially confirmed that Penelope Cruz and he have been dating for about two years now.  He is indeed teaching her how to drive as well, as she has never needed a car while living in Spain.

When Jay asked about the future of the couple, Matt backed away from any commitments by just stating "when the time is right".  He did state that things were looking pretty good with Penelope.  One of the things they have become good at is making each other laugh whenever there is a tense moment between them.

Ever since we added a page dedicated to the young and fabulous couple, the page has been one of the most hit on the website. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams met during the casting of the movie "The Notebook". Both actors won the lead roles, and the film went on to become a surprise hit. Rumors started surfacing that the on-screen couple may have actually started dating. This rumor was furthered when, during the 2005 MTV Movie Awards, the couple won the "Best On-Screen Kiss" award. During their acceptance speech, the couple kissed in front of the world. Rachel would later confirm that the rumors of them dating were true.

According to the Internet Movie Database website, an amazing coincidence is that the couple was born in the same hospital in London, Ontario.

Ryan Gosling has been on the entertainment scene since 1995 when he appeared in an episode of the television series “Are you afraid of the dark”. He really shot into the public eye with his performance in “The Notebook”.

There was quite a bit of blog buzz recently when rumors started to surface that Tom Cruise had a sex scene from his fiancée’s new movie cut.  Here at Celebrity Couples Online, we even had some forum discussions on the rumor.  Well the director of the movie in question, “Thank You For Not Smoking”, has come out to put that rumor to an end.

Director Jason Reitman, the son of “Ghost Busters” director Ivan Reitman, states that the rumors started due to a projection error during an early screening of the movie.  Of course, the funny part of all this is that it is actually easier to stomach the Tom Cruise excuse.  Reitman claims that when the movie is released, the sex scene will indeed be included.  Don’t get all excited boys; apparently it is a sex scene that could pass uncut on any mainstream television channel.

The prognosis?  This rumor is definitely false.

The movie is slated for limited release on March 17, and also stars William H. Macy among others.
