Lionel Richie is claiming that his daughter, Nicole Richie, is now engaged to her fiance Adam "DJ AM" Goldberg.  Richie and Goldberg have been dating since 2003. They split in December last year, but reunited earlier this year. On Friday a US publication alleged Goldberg had dumped Richie.

UPDATE: Just an FYI on this, US Weekly is actually contradicting the original story, stating that the couple has broken up!  We will try to shed some light on this as it happens.

UPDATE: So now it is official that Nicole Richie and Adam Goldberg have amicably split up.
