On the home page here at Celebrity Couples Online, you may have noticed a “Buzz Leaders” section on the right side.  This listing shows you the Actors and Actresses that are currently getting the most “Buzz” online. Yahoo! compiles this list on a daily basis, using data from its search engine.  For instance, at the time of this article, Jennifer Aniston is number two on the buzz index.  This means that people are looking for information about her more than any other actor or actress.  Only Lindsay Lohan was above her at the time.

So why is this interesting?  It tells you a few things.  First off, if Ms. Aniston is number 2 for the day, then we know there must be a lot of hype out on the net that is causing people to search for her.  This is most likely based on the publicity of her current movie, Derailed, and her two upcoming flicks.

It’s a safe bet that when Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck give birth to their baby, they will shoot up on the list.  The same will occur for Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise.  You can see the complete list across all categories at the Yahoo! Buzz Home Page.
