Jennifer Aniston and Vince VaughnDespite a barrage of unfavorable reviews by critics around the country, the word of mouth seems to show that "The Break Up" is well worth seeing if your up for a good laugh.  Critics have cited that the movie, starring the rumored real life couple of Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, is just an hour and a half of a couple fighting.  They also claim that Vince is better off in character roles rather then having an on-screen presence for the full time of the movie.  Based on feedback we have received here at Celebrity Couples Online however, it appears the movie will be a hit with real audiences.

The movie debuted this weekend on top of the box office, besting second week player "The X-Men".  Total gross ticket sales domestically were $38.1 Million.  This definitely shows that audiences weren't necessarily paying much attention to the bad reviews.

Claire, a member of our message boards, states "I must say critics made my expectations low, but I thought The Break Up was wonderful. It was really great to see a movie that was so real, but at the same time, makes you laugh! It was interesting to be on the voyeur side of a relationship that is ending."

Re: Despite critics, Aniston and Vaughn Will Make You Laugh

The movie was funny and also so true with a lot of guys in twenties and thirties. I laughed all through it and the ending was true to form. Girls don't want lazy baby types for very long. Video games have put men in front of them for hours.......how grown up is that? That look Jen gave Vince at his poker strip party said it all. She was done with him.
